This 'novice' exercise regimen begins with a 13 lb. pack, 2,300 ft. gain, 5-6 mi. and after 6 weeks of, 5 days a week exercise, increases it by only 900 ft., 1-2 miles, and 7 lb. This doesn't make sense to me.
